Great little stove

This has been a great stove, and, I have used it 15 or so nights on hikes here in NC and VA over the last 1.5 years I have owned it. Light, reliable, small. I also like the little hard case. Boiled water quickly in my 25+ year old backpacking pot. Way lighter and smaller than the stove it replaced.

So small and powerful

This mini stove is so darn cute I can hardly stand it. Of course, the important thing is that it works well, which it does. Its high-speed, rotating central flame disperses heat evenly, and its adjustable control valve allows for simmering to boiling, to a maximum energy output of 2,800 watts. I wondered how such a little gadget could steady pots and pans — an important factor when you’re dealing with hot food and water — but sure, enough, it steadily supports my Voaz pot (see below). The universal tread fits a variety of self-sealing isobutane-propane fuel canisters. But what’s really amazing is how ultralight and compact it is. It weighs 1.6 ounces (yes, ounces) and folds into a 1x1x2 inch clear, hard case, which, quite honestly, I worry about misplacing because it’s so tiny, so I pop the stove into its case and included cloth bag, then store it in the stainless steel pot.

The best mini stove

Rather you be ultralite backpacking, just out for a night under the stars but not want to carry a lot of weight, or just want something to pack up to make sure that you have a backup plan incase of emergencies, power outages, gas outages, etc, this mini gas stove will have you covered while taking up very little space.
Normally I do reach for something like my Jet Boil or Bestargot stove since weight and carry space isn’t normally something I have to consider but in those situations, I now have an option to reach for. Definitely was worth the small price tag to have a potential gap in my gear gone.
Of course, I’ve tested it out (I’ll have the video up on Brandon’s Ballistics in a week or so if you want to see it in action) and didn’t come across any issues. If I HAD to come up with 1 thing that I didn’t like it would be that it doesn’t come with an igniter so you have to use a lighter to actually light the fire.
But that’s a small complaint and it was obvious that it didn’t come with one when I decided to order it. So I can’t really count that against it

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review for our Mini Stove. We're glad to hear that it has been a valuable addition to your camping gear, providing a lightweight and compact option for cooking. We appreciate your feedback about the lack of an igniter and will take that into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for choosing our product and we hope it continues to serve you well in all your outdoor adventures. Happy camping!

As lightweight as it gets.

This is perhaps the smallest stove I’ve owned. It still can boil water quickly despite its size. Comes in a durable and compact container and feeds onto a fuel can w ease. Great value.

Thank you for your review of our Mini Stove! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying its lightweight and compact design. We take pride in providing a high-quality product that can still boil water quickly. We appreciate your support and hope you continue to enjoy using it. Happy adventuring!

Sweet compact stove

I bought this Near Zero stove because I was looking for a low profile stove I could put in a daypack or leg pocket while out with my scout troop. This stove is awesome! Boiled 1 qt of water in under 3 minutes and had a pot of percolator coffee in 10min. The stove was cool to the touch in a couple minutes. Very impressed by the quality of the moving pieces and the stove as a whole. The hard case is great engineering in itself. I highly recommend this stove to someone looking for a small, light weight, backpacking stove.
BTW, the hand written note on the shipping receipt was a nice touch.

Super small and light

I love it because it's so small but also has a small carry sack and hard case if needed. I haven't used it out yet but I think it will rock.

Worked like a charm

This stove has performed perfectly thus far. The highest I used this was about 11,200', just below tree line, with no issues. It is light, packs up small, and gets the job done. Great value. Don't let the low price scare you, this stoves works great.

Better than JetBoil

This is my fourth backpacking stove and may be my last. We took it to the High Uintas of Utah along with the Near Zero teapot and the system performed perfectly. Our group also had a JetBoil so we were able to compare. Con: The JetBoil was faster, of course. Pros: You cannot beat the lightweight system. It is well build and much better than my other "pocket" stove. Wide fingers kept the pot secure. It is actually powerful and heated very quickly; 4 minutes to a rolling boil for 1L of direct spring water (ice cold). I wrapped my dish towel around the stove and stored in the teapot while hiking. Our party of five agreed that the Near Zero system was better than the JetBoil system for backpacking.

Great purchase!

Works wonderfully! It is made really well, durable and I love how it folds up. The teeth are a nice added bonus so your pot doesn't slide around.

Great product, great price.

I just used this stove at 11,000 feet without any issue. I typically use an MSR Pocket Rocket. ...it like that, but smaller.

This stove is incredible!

Super light and tiny. It boils water much faster than my SnowPeak Gigapower that I have. And for this price?! I highly recommend it.
