So far I have only tested the bag in my backyard on a 40°F night with a tent and lightweight sleeping pad. It was warm, comfortable, and lofted well. I have the NZ20 regular length bag. I am 5' 2" and 140lbs. It feels spacious inside. I am able to turn and sleep on my side comfortably. There are 2 small inner pockets. I can barely squeeze my phone in the larger pocket. I like the stuff sack and mesh storage bag that came included for packing and storing options. It packs up really small and light and fits nicely in my backpack. I can't wait to try it out on an actual overnight backpacking trip.
First impressions of my nz 20 sleeping:
-soft comfortable fabric
-plenty of loft in the down
-Smooth zipper
-remarkably warm for its weight
I look forward to putting it to the test in the coming months.
I paired this bag with a sea-to-summit silk mummy liner and two sleeping pads and was plenty warm with low temp of 27 on first night and 25 the second night! Definitely recommended!!
This bag is nice and light, packs down to a small footprint and kept me toasty warm in sub 40-degree temps. This is a great bag, well designed, great quality. Love the bag. My feet are generally cold and I had zero problems. This is the best sleeping bag I have owned. Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the bag on our backpacking trips.
This is by far the most comfortable bag I have ever used. I slept in it again last weekend at 11,000 ft and loved it. The hood is fantastic and fits easily over my head and eyes. I am 6'2 and have the long version. Definitely worth purchasing!
