I ordered this after realizing the weight of my current 2P tent. After my shake-downs, I know this is perfect for one person. I have room for my sleep system, tomorrow's clothes, and a few other necessities.
Easy and quick to set up. Lightweight. I love it!
Thanks Robin for the great feedback!
I worked with customer service in order to order a new rain fly which I lost on an adventure. The tent worked wonderfully while in use and customer service worked with me to acquire a new rain fly. I would definitely buy from this company again. Good service and good products.
I just wanted to follow up with some feedback following my recent 140 mile section hike on the Ice Age Trail using your Dynalite 1P tent. I had rain on several nights, and the tent performed great. The additional guy out points I added on the rainfly definitely helped with venting and condensation. This thing sets up and tears down easily... and on the mornings when it was pouring rain, there was enough room inside and under the vestibule to get all my gear packed up and tucked away before climbing out into the elements.
I cut a piece of plastic drop cloth to the size of the mesh body footprint to use as a ground sheet, and had no signs of abrasion or wear on the bottom of the tent. The only failure I encountered was a single broken tent stake, but that was my fault. I was setting up on pretty hard ground on my last night and used a rock to pound in the stakes.
For the weight and size, this thing was exactly what I needed for my 10 day hike. I'm glad that on the updated version you're addressing the additional guy out points on the rainfly, as they gave me peace of mind on the nights that it poured.
Oh, I also used your inflatable pillow in addition to my nemo fillo elite. I tend to sleep on my side or stomach, so having that easily adjustable firmness was great depending on how I had the pillows arranged.
