So far I have only tested the bag in my backyard on a 40°F night with a tent and lightweight sleeping pad. It was warm, comfortable, and lofted well. I have the NZ20 regular length bag. I am 5' 2" and 140lbs. It feels spacious inside. I am able to turn and sleep on my side comfortably. There are 2 small inner pockets. I can barely squeeze my phone in the larger pocket. I like the stuff sack and mesh storage bag that came included for packing and storing options. It packs up really small and light and fits nicely in my backpack. I can't wait to try it out on an actual overnight backpacking trip.
Has a bunch of neat features I like like the interior pockets and shoulder baffles. I've been using it for about a year now with probably 20 nights spent in it, and I love it.
Hello dear team,
Unfortunately the sleeping bag has still not arrived. It's probably stuck in customs. I would be happy to rate the sleeping bag as soon as it arrives.
Best regards from Berlin

Haven’t had this bag long enough to give full review yet. Seems to be made very well and so far the warm of the bag is great. Thank you and kind regards.
Super warm and well made. Used in 20 degree weather in the snow on two seperate trips (Sierra's) and didn't have any issues. Looking to purchase the Peralta 25 next for backpacking trips that aren't as cold.
Slept in my new NZ 20 bag at 10,300 ft. elevation this week, and it was wonderful. It fit well in my backpack, and I never got cold, even with those high elevation temps. Thank you Near Zero!
Thank you for your positive review of our NZ 20 Mummy Sleeping Bag! We're thrilled to hear that it kept you comfortable and warm at such a high elevation. We designed this bag with durability and insulation in mind, and we're happy to know it met your expectations. Happy camping!
I bought this bag for my daughter to take to Philmont for her Cavalcade trip. She loved it because it was light and compact and fit very well in the small stuff sack they were given. Took less room in the panniers on the pack horse. It was chili at certain camps they stopped and and she said it kept her cozy sleeping.

This has the same fill as my expensive bag, is just as light and packs down smaller. I love the stuff sack. I also love how roomy it is inside the bag. I don’t feel confined. It is attention to detail and kept me warm in the low 40s and high 30s.

Our team takes great care in designing our products with attention to detail, and we're happy to know that you appreciated the spacious interior and included stuff sack. Great ultralight sleeping bag! Slept like a baby in this thing. Kept me nice and warm no cold spots. Certainly worth it
NZ 20 Mummy Sleeping Bag
Everything you could ask for. Warm, comfortable, lightweight and packable
Good to see a new brand grow, and the passion behind it……..great product,i will have a good use out of it.
Thank you!
Haven’t camped with it yet but it looks and feels as good as bags that cost way more. Looks good in my Near Zero tent too!
First impressions of my nz 20 sleeping:
-soft comfortable fabric
-plenty of loft in the down
-Smooth zipper
-remarkably warm for its weight
I look forward to putting it to the test in the coming months.
I paired this bag with a sea-to-summit silk mummy liner and two sleeping pads and was plenty warm with low temp of 27 on first night and 25 the second night! Definitely recommended!!
This bag is nice and light, packs down to a small footprint and kept me toasty warm in sub 40-degree temps. This is a great bag, well designed, great quality. Love the bag. My feet are generally cold and I had zero problems. This is the best sleeping bag I have owned. Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the bag on our backpacking trips.
This is by far the most comfortable bag I have ever used. I slept in it again last weekend at 11,000 ft and loved it. The hood is fantastic and fits easily over my head and eyes. I am 6'2 and have the long version. Definitely worth purchasing!
Lightweight packs down small perfect for my mt hunting adventures!!
Got it for month-long backpacking trip on the PCT and found it to be perfect. It was soft and warm on the cold nights, and comfy to sleep on top of for the warmer nights. Compresses easily and very light-weight to carry in my pack. Zipper is great, no catching or snagging. Great bag all around.
Bought this for backpacking but will also use it for normal camping. I also own the lighter version for warmer weather. Zippers worked well. Very comfortable. As good as bags that are much more expensive. My son went to southern Chile and we got him a down bag from REI for much higher price and this compares well in warmth value but packs up smaller and lighter.
This bag is super comfortable and warm, and not to mention extremely light and compact.
