Relatively lightweight, affordable, compressible, and warm!

If you’re looking for an affordable sleeping bag that you can comfortably pack, this is the one!

I’m 5’ 10” and about 180 pounds for reference. I went on a backpacking trip on the SHT over Labor Day weekend, 3 nights/4days. This sleeping bag was a game changer! It is affordable, and, compared to other synthetic bags, it offers great compressibility, decent weight, and amazing warmth!

The lows were mid 50’s overnight and I was completely comfortable, even without a bag liner. Most nights I slept without it zipped up so I didn’t get too warm.

As a side sleeper I appreciate the rectangular shape which allowed me to tuck some of the material between my knees without struggling or feeling claustrophobic.

The glow in the dark zipper handle was neat - made it easy to find if I needed to zip it up. The pillow pouch was nice too! It kept it in place perfectly.

Overall, I am thrilled with the bag, and will be purchasing more for family members before our next backpacking trip.

I love the feel of the material and the packed size once compressed

I love the feel of the material and the packed size once compressed. I have only tested it once at home my trip isn’t until Labor Day. With a fan blowing straight on it there was no drafts or cold spots. So very promising. The only down size is the width is a little narrow for sleeping on my back but fine when I turned on my side. But I’m also over weight.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience with the Peralta 25 Sleeping Bag! We're glad you like the material and packed size. We hope it works well for your trip!

Sleeping bag weight material very thin, not sure it will warm during cold temperatures.

Although i liked the design, color and size, the sleeping bag was a more thinner then expected. I bought it because the descripton dislayed it woud be good for in 20 degree weather. I haven't used it yet, but i will be using it for my annual ""Sleep Out" Event to raise awareness of youth homelessness. It's my hope it will be sufficient in cold weather.

Excellent Sleeping Bag

Love this sleeping bag! I've taken it on multiple backpacking trips and it works wonderfully. Took it on Halloween night with freezing temps and stayed toasty all night in the sleeping bag. I highly recommend this bag.

Great Budget Friendly Sleeping Bag!

After investing quite a bit in a Nemo Sleeping Pad and Tent, I was looking for a more budget friendly sleeping bag with solid comfort rating. I came across the Peralta and decided to pull the trigger. I have taken it on 2 trips and am SUPER happy with how it’s performed! In the Catskills at 55 degrees I used it as a quilt and it was perfect. In the wind river range in Wyoming it got down to low 30’s at night and it kept me warm enough to get decent sleep - for the price of the bag though I wasn’t it expecting it to perform as a several hundred dollar down bag so I’m totally fine with this. Me and Wife actually joined our bags together to make one big sleeping bag on another night and it was warm and cozy, awesome feature! If you are looking for a budget bag, I would definitely recommend.

Great compact and lightweight bag at a good price

Have not taken on a trip yet but the bag is constructed very well and zips easily without getting snagged. Fill has good loft to size ratio and is very warm. Can double as a hammock quilt or zip together with another Peralta to make a double bag. The material is very comfortable on the skin as well. Seems like a great piece of gear for the money and I love that it packs down small.
