Near Zero’s lightweight tent compression bag makes packing fast and frustration-free. Inspired by climbing rope bags, its top-loading design lets you drop in your tent and cinch both the length and width using built-in straps — no more wrestling with tiny stuff sacks. Fits all Near Zero 2P and 3P tents (label varies by selection). Tent not included.

Needs a little improvement

I think it needs a third strap in the middle and maybe a molle type strap to allow for easy tie down on a bicycle, motorcycle or backpack

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on our tent compression bag. I’d love to learn more about your experience and your suggestion of adding straps to pull in the ends, along with an additional middle strap.

Our current design is based on a style long used in mountaineering for storing climbing ropes. More recently, we’ve simplified the design, which is now included with many of our tent models.

That said, we’re always looking for ways to improve. Any additional details or photos you can provide about how these changes might enhance function would be greatly appreciated. We’d love to adapt helpful feedback into our future designs!

This tent compression bag works great!

I first saw a tent compression sold with the new 2025 MSR tents. I thought what a great idea, however they do not sell just the bag alone as an accessory. So, I got online and started looking for one and found the Near Zero Tent Compression Bag. This is the best idea ever! What a game changer. I can pack up my tent in a fraction of time. It is just such a better and easier way to pack up a tent.
