We got one blue (wave pattern) and one grey (diamond pattern) and both were great. Light weight. Quick to blow up. Very comfortable. Retained air well. 2-stage valve to inflate these worked great. My wife was concerned that I put the tent over some roots (yes, on my side of the tent), but I did not feel them at all. Easy to pack. Good thermal layer to keep us nice and toasty in sub-40-degree temps. I used these with NZ tent, NZ sleeping bag and NZ pillow. Great setup - all nice and light weight and all worked like a charm to keep me comfortable and warm while up at 11,000'.
I am an ultralight Appalachian Trail thru hiker and have always used a thermarest. The NearZero sleeping pad is not only lighter and significantly less expensive, it can be folded so it creates better options for packing. I used the weight savings to justify a nice NearZero pillow. Good job NearZero!
