Kid pack

I Really really love this thing..But

I Really really love this thing. Only thingI wish I think needs to be updated are the straps and yoke of the backpack. It’s likely because it was dimensioned more for a kids body but the straps do not sit flat on my shoulders and the narrowness of it digs into my body. The yoke design is nice but it might be preventing (for adults) the straps to lay flat on the body because that middle section locks them in the same plane. With the backpack fully loaded it’s definitely uncomfortable. I love everything else about it. Maybe it’s possible to have one with wider straps that lay more flat for adults and one for kids.
I would honestly pay a lot extra for better straps.
This could be one of the best backpack otherwise.

Little Mighty Dean

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter and ended up using it myself for 3 different day hikes in the Smoky Mountains. Loved it. Comfortable and very handy

Very comfortable

I used the pack for an event I attended last weekend. Wore it all day. Very comfortable. My pack was fairly heavy for the size. A couple of binder, two water bottles, snacks, and other things. With my previous pack, my shoulders would be sore, not with the Little Dean.

The perfect kids backpack or daypack

The Little Dean is perfect for backcountry adventures with kiddos. Combined with The Dean it makes for great weekend getaway. The labeled pockets makes it really easy for youngsters to pack their own gear.

It is also a great daypack for adults who want to go on a longer hike or quick overnight and need extra space for water, snacks, layers ect.

Light, durable and perfect for this newbie adventure!

I LOVE how everything has a spot in the backpack and that it’s super lightweight! As a first timer who’s doing one night at a time, the pack is perfect for packing everything I need. I got the mini bundle with it and the gear is all easy to put up and down and easy to clean!
